The N-Power Programme is a job creation and skills empowerment programme of the Federal Government of Nigeria. N-Power is designed to help young Nigerians acquire and develop life-long skills to become practical solution providers in their communities, enabling them to become innovative players in the domestic and global markets. The N-Power programme is for young Nigerians between the ages of 18 and 35.

Our Mandate:

  • To provide beneficiaries with requisite Skills within the designated period of either 1 year or 2 years, depending on the category.
  • To provide work experience opportunities towards job employment, for unemployed youth.
  • To link policies towards enhancing public services.

The main policy thrust of the N-Power scheme is to harness large-scale skill development in the country. We recognize that skills and knowledge are the driving forces of economic growth and social development. The current high level of unemployment in the country, has compelled the FGN to harness Nigeria’s young demography through an objective online process, thereby providing an opportunity to achieve  financial and social inclusion, as well as productivity within the country.
